951.696.9669Titan Solar Power abruptly ceased operations on June 13, 2024. Employees received an email that day stating buyer negotiations had collapsed and the company was closing immediately. One week later — June 20, 2024 — Titan filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.
At the time of closure:
Titan filed Chapter 7, not Chapter 11. Chapter 7 means liquidation — the company is gone. There's no reorganization, no successor entity assuming customer responsibilities, no SunStrong-equivalent service manager. Titan customers are on their own with respect to workmanship warranties and any in-progress installs.
The good news: your equipment manufacturer warranties remain valid. Panels, microinverters, inverters, and batteries are all still covered by the original manufacturers — and ElectriCare can file those claims on your behalf.
Chapter 7 liquidation is the worst-case outcome for company warranties — but your equipment is still protected.
If you financed your Titan installation through a lender (Sunlight Financial, GoodLeap, Mosaic, etc.), your loan obligation typically survives the bankruptcy. You still owe the lender.
However, if your system was never completed or doesn't work, the FTC Holder Rule may give you legal claims against the lender. Document everything and consult a consumer attorney before stopping payments. You can also file a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General, which has been investigating Titan's business practices.
Six concrete things we do for customers stranded by Titan's Chapter 7 liquidation.
← Back to all orphan solar helpWe inspect the system, identify your equipment, and document its current condition — quoted upfront before any work begins.
Titan's warranty is gone but your equipment warranties aren't. We pull serial numbers, confirm coverage, and file claims directly with manufacturers.
Titan's monitoring portal is gone. We reconnect you to native manufacturer monitoring (Enphase Enlighten, SolarEdge mySolarEdge) so you can see your production again.
Failed inverter, microinverter, or battery? We diagnose, source warranty replacements, and install with our in-house electricians.
Was your Titan installation abandoned mid-project? We can inspect, quote completion, and get your system producing — separate scope from any lender disputes.
Same family, same California license (CSLB #778366), since 2000. Titan grew fast and disappeared fast. We've been here 26+ years.

Titan's 25-year workmanship warranty is void — they liquidated under Chapter 7 in June 2024. However, your equipment warranties from the manufacturers are still valid: panels (typically 25 years from Q CELLS, REC, Trina, etc.), microinverters (25 years from Enphase), string inverters (10–12 years from SolarEdge/Fronius), and batteries (10 years from Tesla, Enphase, Franklin). We help identify what's covered and file claims directly.
ElectriCare can. We service all Titan installations regardless of equipment brand. We start with a system inspection, identify the failure, confirm warranty coverage on the equipment, and complete the repair. The manufacturer typically covers the part; you cover the labor — quoted upfront with no surprises.
The Chapter 7 trustee deadline to file a Proof of Claim was March 11, 2025. If you missed it, you likely cannot recover anything from the Titan estate directly. Your focus should shift to: (1) protecting the equipment that's on your roof and (2) using manufacturer warranties to address any failures. ElectriCare can help with both.
Your loan obligation typically survives the bankruptcy — you still owe the lender. However, if the system isn't working or the install was incomplete, the FTC Holder Rule may give you legal claims against the lender. Consult with a consumer attorney before stopping payments. Document everything: photos, monitoring data, communication attempts.
Yes. We can inspect what was installed, identify what's missing, and quote completion as a separate project. Be aware: if your financing is still in escrow or hasn't fully disbursed, you may have leverage with the lender to recover funds for completion costs.
Yes. Titan grew rapidly and used dealer-model installation crews of varying quality. We frequently find loose racking fasteners, wiring issues, and undocumented as-built configurations on Titan systems. Catching these now — while equipment warranties are valid — is far cheaper than waiting for a failure. A system inspection identifies any concerns.
The Arizona Attorney General has been investigating Titan's business practices. Filing a complaint with the AG is worthwhile if you experienced fraud, deception, or undelivered services — it doesn't guarantee restitution but adds your case to any enforcement action. File at the Arizona AG website. Separately, you should still address your physical system through manufacturer warranties.
