ElectriCare is expanding into Los Angeles County, bringing the same in-house licensed crews and no-subcontractor standard that we've built our reputation on in Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties. Call to confirm current coverage for your city.

ElectriCare, Inc. is a Murrieta-based solar and electrical contractor licensed in California (CSLB #778366) and Arizona (ROC #352224) since 2000. Every technician on every job is an in-house licensed ElectriCare employee — never a subcontractor — regardless of which city or region we're serving.

FAQs for Los Angeles County

Does ElectriCare currently serve Los Angeles County for solar repair and EV charger installation?

ElectriCare is actively expanding into Los Angeles County. Call 951.696.9669 to confirm current coverage for your specific city.

Does ElectriCare serve my city?

We serve all of Riverside County (excluding Blythe), all of Orange County, San Diego County, and southern San Bernardino County, and we're currently expanding into Los Angeles County and Central California. If your city isn't listed but is within these regions, call us at 951-696-9669 to confirm current coverage.

Is solar still worth it in California in 2026?

Yes, for most homeowners — even with NEM 3.0 reducing export credit rates. The economics now favor pairing solar with battery storage to use your own power during peak evening rates rather than exporting it. Existing systems installed under NEM 1.0 or 2.0 retain their original rate structure. We can review your specific system and utility rate plan to confirm your numbers.

How much does it cost to fix a solar inverter?

Cost depends on the failure type and whether it's under warranty. A single failed microinverter replacement (often free under a 25-year Enphase warranty, labor only) typically runs $150–$400. A full string inverter replacement out of warranty ranges $1,200–$2,500 depending on brand and system size. We always quote labor upfront before starting work.

Does homeowners insurance cover solar panel damage?

Often yes, for damage from covered perils like wind, hail, or fire — but not for equipment failure, wear, or manufacturer defects, which fall under the equipment warranty instead. Check your policy's specific solar rider or endorsement, since coverage varies by insurer.

Do you charge for travel time to outlying cities?

For service calls within Southwest Riverside County, there's no separate travel fee. For cities further out (Coachella Valley, Orange County, San Diego County, San Bernardino County, LA County, Central California), travel may be factored into the project quote. We're upfront about this during scheduling — no surprises.

Are you licensed to work outside Riverside County?

Yes. ElectriCare's California Contractors State License Board license (CSLB #778366) is valid statewide. We've been continuously licensed since 2000 and carry full liability insurance and workers' compensation for all jurisdictions we operate in.

How quickly can you respond outside your home base in Murrieta?

For Southwest Riverside County (Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Hemet, Winchester), most service calls are scheduled same-day or next-day. For Orange County, San Diego County, and Coachella Valley, scheduling is typically within 2-5 business days depending on technician availability. For newer regions (LA County, Central California), call to confirm current scheduling windows.

Do you service all solar brands, regardless of who installed the system?

Yes. We service every major brand — Enphase, SolarEdge, SunPower, Tesla, ABB, Fronius, LG, REC, Panasonic, Hanwha Q CELLS, Canadian Solar, and more. We also frequently take over service for systems whose original installers have gone out of business.

Will my city be added if you expand to new areas?

Yes. As we expand coverage, this page is updated to reflect new cities and counties. If you're in an area we don't currently list, let us know — demand drives our expansion priorities.
