Solar Installer JOb POst
Electricare, Inc. is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions and is seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panels and associated equipment for residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on roofs, and ground mounts, following safety procedures and guidelines
- Complete system layout and installation, including placement of panels and associated equipment
- Install wiring and electrical components to connect the solar panels to the electrical grid or battery storage systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar panel systems, including testing, and replacing components as needed
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in compliance with relevant safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects and satisfactory outcomes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience with solar panel installation and maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
- Ability to lift and cary 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with heights
- Ability to bend, kneel and crouch
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required – company will train.
