Job Title: Solar Electrician at Electricare, Inc.

Electricare, Inc. is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions and is seeking a skilled Solar Electrician to join our team. As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical part of solar panel and battery systems as well as associated electrical equipment for residential and small commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and wire inverters, charge controllers, & battery storage systems, build Critical Load Centers and perform panel upgrades.
  • Conduct electrical safety checks and troubleshooting to ensure systems are operating efficiently
  • Plan and implement upgrades and modifications to existing electrical tied to solar panel systems
  • Work with team members to layout solar panel systems, ensuring that all wiring and electrical components are properly installed
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installation and repair procedures, equipment used, and work performed
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects and satisfactory outcomes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician. Experience in solar panel installation and maintenance preferred.
  • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Understanding of electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to read plans
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to crouch, bend and kneel
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of service panel upgrades is preferred
  • Ability to finish stucco after service upgrade is preferred
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
  • OSHA 10 preferred but not required – company will train.
